There were an explosion of illegal back-garden skateboarding sessions during the 1975 Californian drought, and young skateboarders were used to brake into those delicious empty pools to skate them. 
Stacy Peralta, a skateboarding legend, he was one of those guys, and the first pool he ever skated was named The Bird Bath.
